With the Add to Notes workflow action, you can add a note to the contact record. Use this workflow action to add notes to a contact record that can be shared with other assigned users to grasp information about content you’d like to share.
Start by adding a suitable Trigger to the Workflow, you can add other actions that fit the task before clicking the “+” icon to search and add the “Add To Notes” action.
Add Note
In the Add To Notes action, simply enter the Note in the designated field, which can be used to provide information that could be beneficial to other users assigned to that contact.
Custom Values & Trigger Link
When adding notes, you can enhance them with Custom Values and Trigger Links. Click the tag icon to insert custom values like {{contact.name}}
or {{user.email}}
, which automatically pulls personalized details. Use the lightning bolt icon to add trigger links, such as {{trigger_link.AE3ghN6TYHJOI4dKBZ3}}
, for embedding actionable links. These tools make your notes more detailed, specific, and functional for seamless collaboration.
Save Action
Always remember to Save the action.
Important Note
To publish workflows, you will need to establish a workflow trigger and a workflow action. Without both, you will only be able to save the workflow, not publish it.
