Managing overused coupons is key to ensuring your customers don't lose interest while ensuring your system is updated and properly maintained. So, how can you make this easier? Well, by using the power of workflows, you can start an automation once the usage limit is reached. Let's check it out!
Setting The Trigger
To start, navigate to the Workflows tab inside the Automation section and create a new workflow.

Click the plus sign icon to add a trigger and select Coupon Redemption Limit Reached.

Adding filters
To limit which events trigger the workflow even further, click the “+ Add Filter” button. The main filters for this trigger are:
Coupon Code
This lets you limit the workflow to only specific coupon codes. To use it, select an operator. Finally, select the codes you want to trigger or exclude from your workflow.

Coupon Name
This lets you limit the workflow to coupons with a specific name, regardless of the code. Just like with the previous case, select an operator and add the coupon names you desire.

Coupon Type
This helps you define the discount type, between percentage or net amount, that your coupon applies to the orders.

Redemption Limit
This lets you use a set numeric value to filter which Coupons trigger the automation based on how many times they can be redeemed.

Once you are satisfied with your selections, click “Save Trigger” to establish your changes.

There you have it! Now you can reach out to customers with other offers, pause other workflows, and more right after a coupon code reaches its max. This will improve your efficiency when managing Coupon Codes.
