Points are key in your community gamification since they make members move up in rankings and gain levels in the leaderboard. By default, members will receive these points when their posts receive likes or responses, helping you promote interaction. But, to reward members for activities outside the community you can use the Grant Community Group Leaderboard Points Action.
How To Set It Up?
Navigate to the Workflows tab inside the Automation section and create or edit a workflow to open the builder.
Make sure to set a trigger for your workflow, for this example, we'll use Form Submitted. However, you can use this action to reward members for purchases, timely payments, or social media interaction.
Click the plus sign icon to add an action and select the Grant Community Group Leaderboard Points Action.
Select the group and total points to award then save the action.
And there you have it. You can now set the rest of your workflow as normal and save it.
