Dedicated IPs offer a significant advantage by sending your email messages from a unique, exclusive IP address. Email Service Providers (ESPs) closely monitor the reputation and behavior of an IP address to determine the deliverability of emails linked to specific domains associated with that IP. By acquiring a dedicated IP address, you will gain exclusive ownership and control over the management of the email sender reputation and deliverability tied to that IP.
Benefits of a Dedicated IP
- Enhanced Email Deliverability: Emails sent from dedicated IPs tend to be prioritized by prominent ESPs like Gmail and Yahoo, improving inbox placement. Without sharing bandwidth, your email performance remains unaffected by other users.
- Full Control Over Sender and IP Reputation: Fully manage your sending habits, IP reputation, and SEO efforts for your website. This allows for customization without interference from other senders.
- Efficient Problem Resolution: As the only sender on your dedicated IP, identifying and addressing IP-related issues becomes straightforward, enhancing the overall reliability of your services.
- Enhanced Cybersecurity: A dedicated IP adds an extra layer of protection against threats like domain hijacking, malware, and hacking attempts, ensuring better security for your email and online resources.
Who Can Purchase a Dedicated IP?
Dedicated IPs are available for agencies on the $297/$2970 and $497/$4970 plans. We recommend sending a minimum of 50,000 emails per week to maintain a solid reputation and reduce throttling. Additionally, for every 1 million emails sent monthly, a dedicated IP should be allocated to ensure optimal deliverability.
- Agencies: Eligible if established within the last 14 days.
- Sub-locations: Accounts with more than 10,000 contacts or those that have sent over 50,000 emails in the past 10 days may qualify.
Both agencies and sub-accounts using LC Email as their provider are eligible to purchase dedicated IPs.

Each IP costs $59 per month, and you can set up rebilling to cover the cost.
📌Note: Our automated solution gradually splits your email traffic between your old shared IP and new dedicated IP during the warm-up period.

Once you own a dedicated IP, you can assign it to a dedicated domain by clicking the option in the domain's actions menu.

You may also link multiple IPs to a single domain, distributing email traffic evenly among them using a round-robin method. This ensures a balanced and efficient flow of email traffic.

By strategically managing your dedicated IP, you can ensure optimal deliverability and maintain a strong sender reputation, securing the success of your email campaigns.
When Should You Get a Dedicated IP Address?
- If your organization is sending a significant volume of emails, especially when exceeding 200,000.
- When setting up email authentication protocols like SPF, DMARC, DKIM, and SSL certificates to protect against email spoofing. Shared IPs don’t provide the same level of security, which leaves you exposed to potential issues caused by other senders sharing the same IP.
Best Practices for Sending Emails with Dedicated IPs
- Reputation management is crucial when sending emails. With a dedicated IP, careful control over email volume and timing is needed to avoid triggering spam filters. It’s advisable to pace your email dispatches and gradually increase the volume over 24 hours.
- Dedicated IPs are best utilized when sending large volumes of emails consistently. Inconsistent, high-volume email campaigns may appear suspicious to ESPs and could result in being flagged as spam. For irregular or lower-volume sending, a shared IP might be more suitable.
