A Blog Site is a dedicated page designed to host the blogs you create on the platform. Establishing a blog site provides an excellent opportunity to share your insights, expertise, or passions with a global audience by presenting your content in an organized and accessible format. In this article, we will guide you through the key steps to create a blog site that is optimized for engagement with readers and search engines.
To begin creating a new blog site, access the Sites section of your CRM, and click on the Blogs tab at the top of the page. Select the "+ New" button to initiate the process.

A pop-up form will then appear, prompting you to complete the following fields:
- Blog Site Title: Enter the title for the page that will host your blogs.
- Domain & Slug: Select the appropriate domain from the dropdown menu and enter a memorable slug. Once this is done, a preview of the blog link will be displayed.
- Blog Meta Description: Provide a summary of the blog's focus.
After completing these fields, click the “Create” button to proceed to the next steps.
You will then be provided with options to edit the blog site, create a new blog post, adjust site settings, preview the site, or set up canonical links for the blog, category, and author.
Click the Settings option to adjust your site configurations, and customize the advanced settings. These advanced settings include:
- Favicon URL: Input the URL for the Blog Site favicon.
- Head Tracking Code: Enter the blog-wide tracking code for the head tag.
- Body Tracking Code: Enter the blog-wide tracking code for the body tag.
4. Chat Widget: Select a chat widget you have created to be displayed on the blog site.
5. GDPR Compliant Fonts: Toggle the switch to use GDPR Compliant Fonts instead of Google fonts on every page.
Click the Update button when you have completed customizing each setting to maintain your changes!
With the site configurations now in place, we can now proceed to design the blog site. Click the back arrow to return to the previous page, then select the Edit Blog Site option.
Add the necessary elements, configure the SEO meta data, and customize additional settings such as the page background and typography to suit your preferences.
Preview the layout to ensure it meets your expectations, and once satisfied, save and publish the site. This page will serve as the central hub for all the blog posts you create within the blog site.
To create a new blog post, return to the blog site menu and click on the New Post option. This menu will allow you to create a post from scratch, or import blog posts from a URL.
If the option to create the post from scratch is selected, a popup modal will appear, allowing you to enter the desired title, description, image, and alt text for the post.

Once your site is live, you can continuously update and refine it by adding new posts, adjusting settings, and improving content for better engagement.
