The Ad Manager tool streamlines the process of creating and managing Google Ads campaigns directly from your CRM. This guide will walk you through the steps to create a Google Ads campaign, ensuring you can efficiently define your ad content, set a budget, and target the right audience. Let's begin.
Campaign Setup
From the Ad Manager home screen, click on the 'Create Campaign' button. A popup will appear allowing you to select Google as the platform to publish your campaign.

Once you've selected Google, click 'Next' to choose whether to start from scratch or use Ad Manager templates (Coming Soon).

Step 1: Ad Content
In this step, you will define the content for up to three ads within your ad group. For each ad, provide a unique headline and description, keeping in mind that Google will optimize the display based on user engagement. You can also input the URL your ad will link to.
- Headline: Split your headline into three parts, each separated by a "|" character. Headline 1 should be the first part, followed by Headline 2 and Headline 3 if needed (up to 30 characters each).
- Description: Write a description for your ad under Description 1, with an optional extension for Description 2 if needed (up to 90 characters).

Expand Ad 2 and Ad 3, if necessary, to further optimize your campaign.

Keywords
After defining your ad content, proceed to the 'Keywords' section. Here, you can enter both Positive Keywords, which are relevant terms that users may search for to connect with your business, and Negative Keywords, which prevent your ad from appearing in irrelevant searches.

📌Note:
- Keywords can be up to 80 characters long, with a maximum of 40 positive and 40 negative keywords added per campaign.
- After entering the phrase or word in the Keyword section, click enter to save that keyword. Add another phrase or word in the keyword box to create additional keywords, or click on the cross icon on the selected keyword to delete it.
- Suggested keywords are generated based on the website provided in the ad.
Step 2: Budget and Audience
In this step, you’ll define the daily budget and audience targeting options for your campaign.

Budget
Set a daily budget, which will be charged to the card linked to your Google Ads account. The budget can be adjusted as needed, and spend breakdowns will be shown for each day, along with start and end dates.

Geographic Location
Define where your ad will be shown based on location or radius. You can choose to include or exclude specific areas within a country or state.

Language
Select the languages spoken by your target audience. Multiple languages can be selected if required.

Step 3: Review and Publish
Before publishing your campaign, review all the details, including ad content, budget, and audience settings.

If any adjustments need to be made, click the pencil icon corresponding to the section that needs to be updated.

Once you're satisfied with the setup, click 'Publish' to launch your campaign. The payment will then be processed through the connected Google Ads account.

By following these steps, you can efficiently create a Google Ads campaign through the Ad Manager tool. This simplifies campaign setup and makes it easier to reach the right audience and track performance across platforms.
