How to Set Up and Use the Voice AI Chat Widget

The Voice AI Chat Widget allows visitors to communicate with your AI agent using real-time voice conversations directly inside the chat widget. It enables users to talk through their browser’s microphone and speakers without requiring a phone number, download, or call setup. Let's learn how to create and use one!

Navigate to the Chat Widget tab inside the Sites section and create a new widget.

Select Voice AI as your chat type.

Style

This controls the initial look of the Widget. Here, you can change the colors, image, position, and more aspects related to the widget's appearance.

In the Styles tab, you can define the Widget's Placement (1), icon (2), and theme (3). 

In the Widget Customization tab, you can change the Voice AI's avatar as well as the widget's position and dimension.

Chat Window

The Chat Window settings affect the user experience within the chat widget. You can customize the title, intro message, and contact form fields, such as name and phone. Additionally, you can enable or disable features like call-to-action redirects and agency branding.

Messaging

Here you can change the chat widget's language.

Agent

The Agent tab lets you select (1) and rename the AI agent you're using to respond to your calls.

When selecting a Voice AI Agent, you can pick any previously created one or click + Create New Agent to open the Voice AI builder in a new tab. Once done, the Chat Widget will update the list to include your new creation. 

Visitors can now speak naturally with an AI agent, powered by Voice AI, without needing outbound calls, downloads, or external integrations. Helping combine the power of conversational AI with the accessibility of the Chat Widget, creating a new way for businesses to capture, qualify, and engage leads instantly through voice.
