The Options tab in the form builder gives you the tools to tailor how your form behaves and interacts with users. From configuring submission responses to tracking events and optimizing user experience, this section ensures your form aligns with your goals.
To access the Options tab, click on the control icon at the top-right corner of the form builder interface.
On Submit
This setting determines what action occurs when a visitor completes and submits the form.
- Open URL: If you choose the Open URL option, the visitor will be redirected to the designated web page of your choice. A Thank You page is recommended as it provides positive reinforcement for the visitor.
- Message: Alternatively, you can opt for the Message option, which allows you to display a custom message created by you upon form submission.
- Order Confirmation: This setting is ideal for forms tied to purchases, allowing you to show an order confirmation message or page immediately after submission.
Message Styling
Toggle on this option to configure the Background, Font color, Font family, size, and weight of the message sent to customers after they fill out this form.
Facebook Pixel ID
Track form submissions and gather analytics by entering your Facebook Pixel ID in the provided box. If you plan on using the form in a funnel, you can skip this step as the pixel code will already be installed on the funnel page for tracking purposes.
Facebook Pixel Events
If you’ve entered a Facebook Pixel ID, you can configure specific events for tracking and analytics.
On-Page View
Set the event that will fire whenever a visitor views the page containing your embedded form.
On Form Submission
Choose the event that will fire when a visitor submits the form, helping you monitor conversions or leads effectively
Form Settings
The Form Settings section provides advanced tools to enhance the functionality and user experience of your forms.
- Sticky Contact: The sticky contact feature automatically populates your visitor's previously entered contact information, eliminating the need for them to input it again. This convenient functionality enhances user experience by saving time and effort, making it more likely for visitors to engage with your website or platform and complete desired actions.
- Use GDPR-Compliant Font: This setting ensures that the fonts used in your form comply with GDPR standards, maintaining data privacy and legal compliance.
- Enable Timezone: Turn on this option to automatically adjust timestamps in the form submissions based on the visitor's timezone, ensuring accurate data collection.
