Setting Up The Branded Mobile App

If you wish to create an app for your business, the Branded Mobile App is the perfect way to start! This feature allows you to unlock new revenue streams, build brand identity, boost engagement, and send push notifications by building your app for managing communities, courses, and more. This guide will walk you through all the steps to get your app up and running!

Discover this feature in the Sites > Client Portal dropdown to begin. 

Subscribe to the Branded Mobile App

If you have not yet purchased a subscription, click the “Get Started” button on your screen.  

An overview of the pricing details will be displayed in a new modal, highlighting key features of this tool, and providing a form for you to add your card details to complete the purchase.

📌Note: Kindly allow 3-4 weeks for processing once all required data has been submitted. During this period, please ensure that your Apple/Google Organizational Developer accounts are fully prepared. If you need assistance with setting up your accounts, follow the instructions provided in the link.

Branding and Profile

Once your subscription is activated, you will be prompted to complete the branding and profile information to ensure your app aligns with your brand identity.

Clicking the hyperlink will redirect you to the Branding tab where you can upload your mobile app icon (1) and add carousel images (2).

Furthermore, you can add a Play Store banner to enhance the visibility and appeal of your app in the store.

When completing these uploads, please bear the file size and type in mind.

Once you are satisfied with the content added to the Branding section, proceed to the Profile tab to enter the personal information associated with the app, as well as the app and development details. 

The Personal Information section requires you to provide your full name, phone number and email, Support URL, and D-U-N-S Number - which will be used to verify the identity and legal entity status of your organization as part of the enrollment process for the Apple Developer Program or Apple Developer Enterprise Program.

Enter the App Name, Terms and Conditions URL, Privacy Policy URL, App Short Description, and App Description in the App Details section, and choose the countries you want to have access to the app from the App Distribution Countries dropdown. 

📌Note: The App Description must be between 150 and 4000 characters.

The final section to complete in the Profile section is the Development Details. Here, you will be required to enter your Google and Apple Developer Credentials. Once you have completed each field, click the save button!

Submit Details

After thoroughly reviewing all the details in the Branding and Profile section, please click on 'Submit.' Once submitted, these details will be used to develop the app and cannot be modified thereafter.

In Review

The submitted details will be reviewed within 5 working days and a notification will be sent to you if any further action is needed.

Book Slot for 2FA

Once the app has been approved internally, you will be required to schedule a time slot for us to send you a 2FA authentication code via email or SMS. This slot is simply for receiving the 2FA code needed to proceed with processing the app.

App Submitted to Stores

The app will then be submitted to the stores, and approval typically takes up to 2 weeks, depending on store policies. If your app is rejected, we will contact you for further steps.

App Live

Once the stores have accepted your app, it will be live, and you can share your app links with your client portal users!
