The Task Completed Trigger will start your workflow when a task is marked as completed by a user. This is compatible with recurring tasks and tasks assigned to a specific user. It helps manage internal processes and ensures the customer journey continues without a hitch once a task is completed. Let's see how it works.

Using the Task Completion Trigger

Create a new workflow by selecting + Start from Scratch.

Set your Trigger as “Task Completed” by adding a new trigger.

Applying filters

Click + Add Filters to narrow down the tasks that will trigger the workflow

The main filter will be Assigned User, which allows you to limit the user's tasks that trigger the workflow.

Select an operator for your filter, your options will be:

  1. Is: This limits the workflow trigger to a specific user.
  2. Is empty: This will only trigger the workflow when there's no assigned user.
  3. Is not: This will exclude tasks assigned to a specific user.
  4. Is not empty: This will only trigger the workflow when there's an assigned user.

Once you've added the filters click Save Trigger.

Add any actions you want the workflow to follow then click Save at the top right corner.

This Trigger will help you follow up with customers and monitor that your team is completing the tasks assigned to them without the need to constantly check the Tasks Tab. Enhancing your efficiency and smoothing your operations.
