Tasks are crucial for maintaining organization within your business, ensuring that all essential tasks are consolidated in one central location on your platform. 

The Tasks section within the Contacts tab offers a comprehensive overview of tasks assigned to various team members and linked to specific contacts, enabling you to efficiently manage responsibilities and enhance productivity. Access the Tasks tab to begin.

No Tasks Created

If you see the message "No Tasks Found," it indicates that your task list is currently empty. As you create tasks, they will be displayed here, providing an organized view of your ongoing responsibilities.

Create New Task

You can create new tasks in your platform using several methods. A quick and convenient way is to click the Add New Task button within this section, which simplifies task creation and helps you stay organized.

Task Category

  • All: Displays all tasks created within your system.
  • Due Today: Shows tasks that are due to be completed by the end of the current day.
  • Overdue: Lists tasks that have passed their due date without being completed.
  • Upcoming: Highlights tasks with future due dates to help you prepare in advance.

Filters

Using filters allows you to quickly locate tasks based on criteria like, Assignees, Status, and Due dates. This feature enhances task management by helping you focus on priorities.

By Assignees

Use a user-based filter to display tasks assigned to specific team members or those that remain unassigned.

By Status

Use this filter to view tasks by their current status, such as pending or completed, helping you prioritize work.

By Due Dates

Sort tasks by creation date or due date using this tab, enabling you to manage deadlines more effectively.

Advanced Filters

Advanced filters provide additional customization for sorting tasks based on unique criteria. These allow for a more tailored view of your task list, ensuring you can focus on specific aspects of your responsibilities.

Sort

You can sort tasks using the following options:

  • Title: Sort tasks based on their title.
  • By Due Date: Arrange tasks based on their deadline.
  • Created At: Sorts tasks based on their creation date.
  • Updated At: Orders tasks based on the most recent updates made.

Search Bar

The search bar allows you to quickly find specific tasks within your list, making it easier to manage your responsibilities efficiently.

Manage Fields

Customize the fields displayed in your task table to fit your workflow. You can add, remove, or rearrange fields, ensuring you see the most relevant information at a glance.

Bulk Actions

To select all tasks at once, use the master checkbox at the top-left of the task table. This feature allows for efficient bulk task management. Selecting multiple tasks enables you to perform bulk actions, saving time and enhancing productivity by managing several tasks simultaneously.

Task Table

The Task Table provides an overview of all created tasks, including details such as Status, Title, Description, Associated contact, Assignee, Due date, and Action. This consolidated view helps in managing tasks efficiently.

  1. Status: The Status column displays the current status of each task. You can mark a task as completed by clicking the checkmark icon, making it easy to track progress.
  2. Title: This column displays the task title. Clicking on a task will take you to the contacts section for more detailed information.
  3. Description: The Description column provides an overview of the task's details or requirements. Adding clear and concise descriptions ensures that team members understand their responsibilities.
  4. Associated Contacts: This column shows the contact linked to each task, providing context for tasks tied to client relationships or specific projects.
  5. Assignee: This column displays the team member assigned to each task, providing a clear overview of task distribution.
  6. Due Date: This column shows the due date for each task, helping you ensure timely completion. For recurring tasks, the Due Date column displays a cycle icon beside the date, indicating that the task repeats regularly. Hover over this icon to view the task’s recurrence frequency. 
  7. Actions: Modify the details of a task, such as its title, description, due date, or assignee, to reflect any necessary changes. Permanently remove a task from the list, eliminating it from your task management system.
