How To Enable And Rebill LC Email Validation

Email Validation is a process that checks if an email address can receive emails. In simple terms, it helps determine if an email address is valid before you send an email. Please note that the email validation feature is exclusively for LC and Mailgun users.

How to Enable Email Validation:

Getting Started

This feature is only available for accounts in SaaS mode. If the account is not active, go to the Subaccounts section in your Agency View and click the three dots next to the subaccount.

Select Switch to SaaS.

Activating Email Verification

Navigate to the Email Services section inside your Agency settings. Switch to the “Locations Settings” tab.

Toggle Email Verification on for the desired subaccount.

All plans cost $2.50 for every 1000 validations, which is more cost-effective than most major providers. Mailgun charges $12/1000, making LC Email Validation 79% cheaper.

Setting Up Rebilling

After enabling Email Verification, navigate back to the Subaccount Tab and Manage Client.

Switch to the Rebilling tab.

Use the slider to set the price, and then click Save.

📌Note: For agencies on the $297/$2970 plan, the rebilling multiplier is fixed at 1.05x. You must be on the $497/$4970 plan to increase it beyond 1.05x.

Switch to the Advanced Settings tab and scroll down.

Enable re-verification for 90 days. This will refresh the email status every 90 days to keep information updated since email validity can change for reasons like MX records changing.

Activating Email Verification In The Subaccount

Subaccount users can enable or disable email verification by navigating to the Business Profile tab inside the Subaccount settings and scrolling down to the General section. In there, check the box next to Verify Email address. 

When a sub-account user enables email verification, a notification will be sent to all active agency admins and the company's registered email address, indicating that email verification is enabled in the sub-account (only for LC Email).

All emails are validated before sending. If an email hasn't been validated in the last 90 days, it will be re-validated before sending. This added verification ensures your customers' communications don't end up on deaf ears.
