Step 1: Set Up Your Tags

  1. Navigate to Tags: In your Go High Level dashboard, go to Settings > Tags.
  2. Create New Tag: Click on 'Create Tag', name it 'Referral Offer Redeemed', and save the tag.

Step 2: Design Your Workflow

  1. Go to Automations: From the Go High Level dashboard, navigate to Automations.
  2. Create a New Workflow: Click 'Create Workflow' and name it 'Referral Offer Redemption Workflow'.
  3. Set the Trigger: Add a trigger that initiates this workflow when a referral offer is redeemed. This could be a form submission, a link click, or another event indicating redemption.
    • Example Trigger: Select 'Form Submitted' and then select the specific form.
  4. Add an Action to Tag Contact: After setting the trigger, add an action to apply the 'Referral Offer Redeemed' tag.
    • Action: Select 'Add Tag' and choose 'Referral Offer Redeemed'.
  5. Stop Follow-Up Sequences: Add an action to remove the contact from any ongoing referral automation sequences.
    • Action: Select 'Remove from Workflow' and choose the referral follow-up workflows that should be stopped.

Step 3: Review and Optimize Workflow

  1. Check Tag Routing: Ensure the 'Referral Offer Redeemed' tag correctly triggers the necessary actions.
    • Review the tag routing to confirm that this tag stops the designated referral automations.
  2. Review Referral Automations: Go through your existing referral automation workflows to ensure they are set to stop when the 'Referral Offer Redeemed' tag is applied.
    • Check each workflow and add a condition at the start that stops the automation if the 'Referral Offer Redeemed' tag is present.

Final Workflow Review

  1. Test the Workflow: Simulate a referral offer redemption by triggering the workflow manually or through a test submission. Verify that the 'Referral Offer Redeemed' tag is applied and that any referral follow-up sequences are stopped.
  2. Adjust as Needed: If the workflow does not perform as expected, go back and adjust the triggers, actions, or conditions. Ensure everything is linked correctly.
