Appointments help you make the most of your day by allowing you to prepare beforehand and maximize what you do in your downtime. This can be handled in the Contacts section, including details such as the date, time, and status of the appointment, the calendar the appointment was booked on, and the assigned user. Let's check how to do it!

Manually Scheduling From Contacts

Navigate to the Contacts section, and look for the contact you'll have the appointment with under the Smart Lists tab.

Once you click on the name, you'll be directed to the Contact details. There, click the Calendar Icon.

Click on the “+ Add” button to get started.

Select the kind of appointment this will be.

Meetings

A pop-up similar to the one used when booking from Calendars will appear for you to fill in the appointment details. Simply follow the process outlined in the "Appointment Panel Options" section of the article “Book New Appointment” without selecting a new contact.

Services

A pop-up similar to the one used when booking from the Services tab will appear for you to fill in the appointment details. Simply follow the process outlined in the “Creating New Appointments” section of the “Managing Service Appointments” article without selecting a new contact.

Created Appointment Options

Editing an Appointment

After an appointment has been created, you can make necessary changes by clicking the three dots icon, then the pencil icon. This will open a complete view of all appointment details, which will look the same as when you created it.

Canceling an Appointment

By clicking the three dots icon, then the Cancel option, you'll mark an appointment as canceled. No reminders will be sent, and workflows triggered by appointment cancellation will start.

Appointments give you a visual way to manage your time and grant you greater control over your day. Following these steps will help you manage appointments directly from the contact cards, leading to a smooth approach to upcoming appointments, customer satisfaction, and time management.
