Whenever you encounter an order for which you don't have all items in stock you can do a Partial Fulfillment. This allows you to retain customer satisfaction by not delaying the whole package for a missing piece, instead sending what you have in stock and following up later with the rest of the order.

In Fulfill items, choose the quantity of each item that needs to be fulfilled in this case. Follow the rest of the steps as mentioned in the previous section.

These orders will be marked as Partially Fulfilled, which allows you to access the order details and fulfill the rest of the order.

In the order details page, items that have been partially fulfilled will have their details listed. You can click on Fulfill Items to complete the order, the Items already sent will be subtracted from the list.
